Here I outline my ideas for why I want to make these videos. I teach photography and want to help you experience the rigor, terror and sometimes joy of being a photographer.

That is to say I use photography as a way to communicate in a visual way with the world. If you are checking this page out you are interested in photography, but really I have no real idea why or how you are here.
What I want to do is to HELP you figure out how photography can be useful and relevant to you. I want to see more and more interesting, complex, nuanced and beautiful pictures in the world. Maybe I can help you help yourself embark on that journey.
